The demand for animal medications continues to grow and pharmacists are a valuable resource for veterinarians if they have knowledge about animals and pets. This presentation will describe the role of community pharmacists in veterinary medicine, identify key regulatory guidance and drug information resources for animals, and explain the services pharmacists can provide within their scope of practice.
