Mission Statement
The mission of the continuing education program is to provide quality live and home-based continuing education activities to pharmacists that advance their knowledge and competence, addresses current and emerging practice needs, fosters excellence in the lifelong goals of education and patient care and enables them to improve the health and well-being of patients in the region and beyond.
The Continuing Education offerings shall be consistent with the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education’s Criteria for Quality and Interpretive Guidelines.
We will scan the environment, study the literature, conduct needs assessments periodically, and will consult with individual practitioners, professional pharmacy organizations, regulatory bodies, health care groups and others to determine the educational needs, develop quality educational programs, evaluate educational outcomes and deliver Continuing Education programming in a cost-effective manner.
