Sexual Harassment

A new law passed in 2019 requires that individuals with professional licenses issued by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (DPR ) that require CE for renewal also complete 1 hour of CE on the topic of sexual harassment prevention training. This requirement is in effect for all renewals after January 1, 2020.
Sexual harassment prevention training will be required for every renewal after January 1, 2020.
Sexual harassment is a continuing concern in the workplace.  Pharmacists should be knowledgeable enough to recognize sexual harassment, including the different types and what to do when they encounter it.  They should also know the options they have for reporting sexual harassment, and the protections that they have against retaliation if they report sexual harassment.
